I can't believe that 8 years ago today Davis was born. Where has the time gone? This is a child that Dr's said was "incompatible with life and would not survive birth." We all prepared for the worst and thought we would never bring him home. Some days that seems like a lifetime ago. Here we are 8 years later and I can't imagine life without Davis. I praise the Lord for such a sweet miracle. Davis is truly a blessing and a gift !! Happy Birthday to my precious Little Buddy :o)

Hi Stacey,
I came across your blog through an HPE website. I couldn't help but notice that your sons birthday was December 7th.
My sons birthday is also December 7th. He is now 1 year old. As of today December 10th he has been diagnosed with Semilobar Holoprosencephaly. I am a bit devestated. And I don't know what to expect. He will be seeing a genetics doctor soon. We dont know how severe it is yet or what it will be like for him in the future.
Do you have any advise for me. I would completely understand if you don't respond. I just saw the coinsidence it the December 7th date and thought I would ask you.
